AUSTIN (KXAN) - Restaurant Week begins in Austin today with fine dining at low prices.
Sixty-three of the city's best restaurants will offer three-course meals, all under $35 a person.
"All the dinners are all $25 to $35 dollars [with] pre-fixed menus. It includes an appetizer, main course and a dessert," said Taylor Perkins of Rare Magazine. "Some restaurants also offer wine pairings. [There are] lots of fun restuarants, lots of fun opportunities to try out the food that we've got."
Lunch prices range from $10 to $15 a person.
Austin Restaurant Week runs today through March 3 and then again March 7 through March 10.
Five percent of the week's proceeds will go to the Sustainable Food Center of Austin.
