AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police are now not completely ruling out homicide surrounding a case where a body was found on South Congress Avenue Monday morning.

The body was found at 2602 South Congress Ave. after police got a call at 7:45 a.m. about the man in his 40s. He was found on the sidewalk in front of AutoZone.

Police said they are investigating the death as "suspicious," and they do not yet know how the man died.

The case is still under investigation and could become labeled a homicide, pending the autopsy results.
