AUSTIN (KXAN) - To celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness Day, KXAN News' Pet of the Week is Dora.

Dora is a two-year-old that is looking for a good home.  She loves playing with other dogs and is going through the organization's discipline program.

Love-A-Bull is making sure Dora and other rescue pit bulls can find fitting homes.

In Austin, the Texas-Sized Pittie Pride Parade is happening today:

Parade starts at 11:30 a.m. at Barton Springs and Congress
Festival starts at 1 p.m. at Republic Square Park
