AUSTIN (KXAN) - For those who like to play board games with their friends, there is a new one on the market that was created by an Austinite that tests people on their Austin knowledge.
"Cityism is the all-new Austin board game that has trivia questions, activities and weird cards," said Keely Morgan, creator of Cityism .
Morgan is a life-long Austinite and came up with the game.
"I came up with most of the questions, but I've had a lot of help," said Morgan.
The idea is to start at the airport and make your way along the trail answering questions. The first one to Mount Bonnell wins.
The trivia game tests knowledge on sports, history and of course music. One question asks to name four towns people would pass through if they were driving from Austin to Houston on U.S. Highway 290.
Drawing a weird card could mean trading shoes with an opponent, and there are even charades. Imagine acting out Salt Lick.
“It is something just fun, because it is something you have in common with the people you are playing with," said Andrea Counch, a Cityism fan. "You all get goofy and funny with it."
Cityism is available at Book People , Thai Fresh and online for $29.
