BASTOP, Texas (KXAN) - From the looks of photos posted on the Wildfire Pet Rescue website, many owners and pets have not yet been reunited.

While some owners believe their pets were killed in the various fires that burned in Bastrop, Smithville and parts of Austin, it may be possible that the animals got away and were rescued by others.

Photos and descriptions of cats, dogs, birds and even pigs are listed as either lost or found on the website. It is set up for those affected by the Bastrop, Smithville, Pedernales/Spicewood and Steiner Ranch fires.

One photo is of a white mini horse, No. 193, described as dapple grey, found on Sept. 8 near 566 Ponderosa in Bastrop.

Some owners have also added links to their Facebook pages with information about their lost pets.
