Lightning strike causes RR house fire
Officials estimated damage at $5,000

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - A lightning strike in Round Rock caused a house fire late Monday afternoon.
The call came in shortly before 5 p.m. about the blaze in the 2000 block of Oxford Boulevard . When firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw flames shooting from the roof.
Some 16 firefighters battled the blaze for about 15 minutes, before putting it out.
Officials said lightning in the area caused the fire, which resulted in $5,000 in damage.
No one was injured in the blaze.
