AUSTIN (KXAN) - Kyle has something to brag about Wednesday afternoon after being ranked the "Most Affordable City" in Central Texas.

The Capital Area Council of Governments came up with the ranking with data from Demographia.com.

Analyzers compared Kyle to Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Kyle, Leander, Pflugerville, Round Rock and San Marcos.

The average household in Kyle earns $70,000 a year, and the average home price is $144,000.

Kyle is one of the fastest growing cities in Texas.
