KINGSLAND, Texas (KXAN) - The Llano County Sheriff's Office is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information about two suspicious fires that happened in Kingsland earlier this month.
One fire burned a shed-barn facility in the 600 block of Breezy Lane on Aug. 13 at 5:28 a.m.
Llano deputies and Kingsland Volunteer Fire Department were able to douse the fire before it spread to other structures.
The second fire happened on Aug. 16 at 5:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of Industrial Boulevard. The fire was contained to a pile of brush and doused in less than 30 minutes.
These fires follow others that are suspicious in nature that happened in June and July.
Of the most significant is the destruction on June 25 of the still-under-construction Seton Clinic on Ranch Road 2900. Two brush fires occurred at the same time frame in the same area as the clinic fire.
On July 14, an unoccupied house in the 1300 block of Ranch Road 1431 burned, as did a storage building several blocks away
Anyone with information is asked to call the Llano County Sheriff’s Office at 325-247-5767 or 1-877-434-7345.
