KINGSLAND, Texas (KXAN) - Three months away from officially opening, the currently under-construction Seton Kingsland Healthcare Center burned to the ground on June 25.

After looking through the rubble, investigators have determined that the fire was not accidental, but arson.

The facility was being built on Ranch Road 2900, between Ridgeview and Knob Hill Street, , right in the middle of the Kingsland business community.

Michelle Robertson, president of Seton Healthcare Family North Group, said while the building was completely destroyed, they are still planning on rebuilding as soon as they get permission to do so.

Construction on the clinic had been going on for four months and was slated to open in September. Robertson said the building was close to completion.

Upon completion, the clinic would have had 12 exam rooms as well as a community room for health education and other public events.

If you have information regarding the fire, you are urged to contact the Hill Country Crime Stoppers at 866-756-8477.  Any tips leading to an arrest are eligible for a reward up to $2000.
