Motorcyclist dies after hitting tree

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas (KXAN) - A man driving his motorcycle died on Saturday afternoon after authorities said he crashed into a tree.
According to the Department of Public Safety, around 1:30 p.m. the motorcyclist was driving on Farm to Market 150, a few miles east of Ranch to Market 12 , when he ran off the road and struck a tree.
The driver died at the scene. His name has not been released.
This is the second deadly wreck in the Dripping Springs area this week. On Thursday , 16-year-old Lindsey Taylor Neal died when the vehicle she was riding in flipped and ejected her from the car.
