BURNET, Texas (KXAN) - A crew for the city of Burnet accidently ruptured a gas line Monday afternoon forcing officials to cordon off State Highway 29.
The rupture took place near South West Street in Burnet.
Officials asked residents and motorists to stay away until the area can be cleared.
No reports of injuries were received and workers were attempting to fix the line at mid-afternoon.
