BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) - An early morning Bastrop school bus accident happened Tuesday after the Department of Public Safety said a driver failed to yield the right of way to the bus, striking the back. The accident happened around 7:05 a.m. at the intersection of Pershing Boulevard and Alta Vista Drive .

There were 23 students on board, all ages 5 to 7 years old. DPS said there were no serious injuries, and no one wanted to go to the hospital.
