Collision kills two in Blanco County
Driver fell asleep at the wheel

BLANCO COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - A collision outside of Johnson City leaves an elderly couple dead.
The accident happened on 290 West about seven miles west of Johnson City around 1 p.m on Monday.
According to Blanco County dispatch, a young female was fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the median, colliding with the couple's vehicle.
Blanco County Sheriffs Office is investigating the accident. No charges have been filed against the driver.
No other information was immediately available.
