Meth bust near Burnet daycare

BURNET, Texas (KXAN) -  A father and son were arrested Monday night at their home in the 1200 block of Sherrard Street in Burnet for making meth in their home. Jeffrey Craig Nobles, 43, and Jason Craig Nobles, 19, are charged with manufacturing a controlled substance more than 400 grams in a drug-free zone, posession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone and abandonment and endangering a child.

DPS, Burnet County Sheriff's Office, Marble Falls Police Department and Burnet Police Department all helped in the investigation. A high volume of purchases of pseudoephedrine at a local pharmacy sent up a red flag.  Investigators executed a search warrant and spent the night searching the home and a shed behind the home. Meth manufacturing substances and equipment were found. The home is located right down the street from a child daycare.
