KINGSLAND, Texas (KXAN) - An Austin man hang gliding over Packsaddle Mountain in Kingsland died Wednesday night in what Llano County sheriff's officials said looks like an accidental death.

Llano County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy John Neff said John Seward, 26, was already dead when emergency crews responded to the scene around 8 p.m. Neff said he did not know details about what went wrong in the incident off County Road 309 .

Investigators are calling this case an accident, pending the autopsy report.

The landmark hill, located 5 miles southwest of Kingsland in eastern Llano County, is a popular spot for hang gliders to soar. Click here to see a hang glider take off from the side of Packsaddle Mountain.
