SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) - San Marcos Police arrested a 35-year old San Marcos woman Wednesday night after responding to a disturbance in the 200 block of Third Street in which a man was stabbed.
Cecilia Margarita Riojas is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held in the Hays County Law Enforcement Center. Bond was set at $25,000.
Police responded to a call at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday about a disturbance involving several people that resulted in the stabbing of a 31-year old man.
The victim, Robert Hamilton, was transported by emergency medical services to University Medical Center Brackenridge where he was reported to be in stable condition.
San Marcos police are continuing to investigate the incident.
