TX State armed attacker arrested
2 custodial workers held at knife point

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) - Sunday, September 16, around 10 p.m. police arrested the suspect, Pablo Franco.
Texas State University Police, San Marcos Police and San Patricio County Sheriff's Department worked together to take Franco into custody in San Patricio County near Sinton, Texas.
Investigators have charged him with two counts of aggravated assault.
Two custodial workers from the Texas State campus were taken at knife point, hit, kicked, pulled by the hair and then dragged towards the suspects SUV.
An email was sent out by the university warning students and faulty the suspect may be armed and dangerous.
The suspect held the knife to the employee's necks, then drove off in a green GMC Yukon with paper plates after they got away.
The employees were walking from the Harris Dining Hall to the Child Development Center west of campus on Lueders Court around 8 pm Friday night.
