SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) - The dry weather is bringing water restrictions for people in San Marcos.
Aquifer levels are dropping, so starting Monday, the city is enforcing Stage 2 Drought Rules.
The restrictions mean people in San Marcos may only use their sprinklers one day per week. Washing your car at home is also limited to once a week.
People will also not be allowed to fill new swimming pools.
The ban also prohibits washing paved services like sidewalks and driveways.
