SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) - The family of a man who was killed last year is offering a reward of $11,000 for information that leads to the solving
San Marcos police found the badly beaten body of 51-year-old Frank Urrutia on the evening of Sept. 16, 2011, near the Interstate 35 bridge that crosses the Blanco River in San Marcos.
According to police, Urrutia was last seen at Jack’s Roadhouse on Hunter Road in San Marcos at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14. Police are interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen him during or after that time.
Urrutia had been disabled from a previous vehicle collision that resulted in some facial disfiguration and the amputation of his left arm, police said.
San Marcos Police Investigators have no suspect leads in this case and seek the public's assistance in solving this crime.
