DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas (KXAN) - Fire officials confirmed Friday that one person was found dead inside of a house that burned Sunday in Dripping Springs.
Crews responded to the fire at 31305 Ranch Road 12. After they had doused the flames, the discovered the body. No information on the person's identity was available. An autopsy is scheduled.
"The suspicious nature of the death and the cause of the fire are still under investigation," the Hays County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
"Currently, this investigation is being led by the Hays County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division with the assistance of the Hays County Fire Marshal’s Office and the Texas Rangers."
