Flooding closes Barton Springs Pool

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Austin Parks and Recreation Department has temporarily closed Barton Springs Pool due to flooding Thursday night.

Deep Eddy Pool's schedule will change temporarily to accommodate Barton Springs Pool patrons.

Aquatic Division staff will assess the pool's condition daily and has started removal of debris at the pool.

Meanwhile, the date to reopen Barton Springs Pool has not yet been determined.
