AUSTIN (KXAN) - Monday marks another opportunity for Central Texas to receive much-needed rainfall for area lakes and ponds.

A Flash Flood Watch has been extended through Monday evening for Central Texas as a cold front has pushed through, providing a chance for showers and some thunderstorms.

Although we will see this rain opportunity come to an end by Tuesday morning, expect another chance for rain later this week. But it, too, will be done in time for our trick-or-treaters on Saturday.

Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend so don't forget to turn the clocks back on Halloween night.
