AUSTIN (KXAN) - If you end up with loads of leftover Halloween candy, you can turn them in for some cash and help a good cause.

Starting Monday, dentists will buy up your extra sweets.

You'll get $1 per pound of donated candy and a special toothbrush from the Family Tree Dental Group.

You can drop them off any day between Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 at the Burnet Road location.

The candy will then be shipped to U.S. troops overseas.
