Construction worker killed in Lockhart

LOCKHART, Texas (KXAN) - A road construction worker was killed Tuesday while repaving State Highway in Lockhart.

Lockhart police report that a truck loaded with road material backed over Ronald Kyle Robinson, 34, shortly before 5 p.m.

The accident occurred in lanes closed for repaving on S.H. 142, also known as West San Antonio Street. No passing motorists were involved in the accident.

Robinson is from Schertz, TX.

The accident is being investigated by Lockhart Police Department and OSHA officials.
