TAYLOR, Texas (KXAN) - A hair follicle drug test on a 4-year-old boy showed positive results for exposure to cocaine and led to the arrest of an adult caretaker.

The child's medical report was given to Williamson County detectives after a dangerously high level of the drug was detected.

Taylor Police Department on Aug. 31 arrested Elvis Jackson, Sr., 49, after they found crack cocaine during a search of his residence.

According to the complaint, officials believe that Jackson intentionally, knowingly, recklessly or with criminal negligence, by act or omission, engage in conduct: to wit, use and storage of an illegal controlled substance, crack/cocaine, that placed the 4-year-old victim in imminent danger of death, bodily injury or physical or mental impairment.
