BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) - The deadline is fast approaching for Bastrop fire survivors to apply for assistance.
The fires during Labor Day weekend last year, destroyed nearly 1,700 homes.
People who lost homes have until midnight Friday to apply for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction funds.
Also, the application for Down Payment assistance will be available soon.
