BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - Crews from several agencies responded to a five-acre fire that destroyed a trailer home near Riddle Road and Farm to Market 812 in rural Bastrop County on Tuesday to keep the blaze from spreading.
There were no immediate reports of injuries and no evacuations were ordered.
The call came in at around 2:45 p.m. The fire was put out by 5 p.m.
The response from the Bastrop, Austin, Five Points and the Bluebonnet fire departments and the Texas Forest Service came as the area approaches the one-year anniversary of the Labor Day firestorm that claim some 1,500 homes and devastated the community.
