BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) - An inmate who escaped from a prison in Bastrop County on Nov. 2 was arrested in Wimberley on Tuesday.
Frank Corder, 66 drove off from the minimum-security Satellite Prison Camp in a government-owned pickup truck..
Corder was sentenced to 135 months in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 100 kilograms of marijuana.
Corder and another man, Melvin Alexander Duran, along with a juvenile passenger, were caught in April 2010 in San Marcos after authorities saw duffel bags being loaded into a Suburban from a private plane at the San Marcos Airport.
Nearly 850 pounds of marijuana were confiscated by authorities, and Cordera arrested and booked on $80,000 bond at the time.
Duran was also charged in the case.
