AUSTIN (KXAN) - Barton Springs Pool is flooding Tuesday morning and will remain closed until further notice.

The Austin Parks and Recreation Department Aquatic Division will delay the reopening of the pool due to the flooding and debris being carried into the pool by floodwaters.

Austin Parks Program Manager Victor Ovalle said staff will have to clean the pool of debris and silt once the flooding stops. Then, parks and recreation workers will assess conditions at the pool.

Deep Eddy Pool will maintain its revised schedule to accommodate Barton Springs Pool patrons temporarily.
