Austin celebrates Cinco De Mayo

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Sunday folks gathered at Fiesta Gardens in East Austin.

The park is right off Lady Bird Lake, a great spot for live music and dancing. Plus, there was plenty of food on hand.

The party honored Mexico's Independence from France isn't over.

Cinco de Mayo actually falls on Tuesday this year.
