AUSTIN (KXAN) - A drive-by shooting in south Austin sends one woman to the hospital on Tuesday night.

Police said just before 9:30 p.m., a man drove by the Oak Creek Village Apartments in the 2300 block of Wilson Stree and fired several shots hitting one woman in the leg.

The 22-year-old victim was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses say the shooter is a male in his early 20s and that he was driving a green older model sedan.
