Web extra: Inside the Google offices

AUSTIN (KXAN) - For the first time, Google gave KXAN reporters a behind-the-scenes look at the company's Austin offices, which are located at MoPac Boulevard and U.S.183.

The video accompanying this report takes you inside the Internet and software corporation that is known for having a fun and hip corporate culture.

"It's Googly, we made the floor Googly," said Jay Remley, Google Austin's director of commerce sales, of the workspace that opened in 2007.

About 200 people work at Google Austin, most of them in sales and marketing. They're surrounded by windows, bright colors and a uniquely Austin flavor -- including an Airstream trailer as the front desk.
