AUSTIN (KXAN) - Health officials say they're seeing the most cases of West Nile virus in the county in nearly a decade.
So far in 2012, there have been eight confirmed cases of West Nile virus in Travis County, including one death. Two cases have been reported in Hays County, and two cases in Williamson County
There are effective mosquito-repelling ingredients in sprays and oils. But there are some other methods to keep mosquitoes away - like using these lanterns - and you put nothing on your skin at all.
