AUSTIN (KXAN) - A12-inch water main broke at 111 North Loop Blvd. on Wednesday morning, forcing crews to close the road in North Central Austin.

The break that occurred around 6:30 a.m. looked like a rogue fountain gushing white water onto the street.

About 50 customers were without water while crews fix the problem. Austin Water Utility said the repair was finished by noon.
