AUSTIN (KXAN) - Crews are working on fixing a broken 16 inch water main on Scofield Ridge Parkway at MoPac,

The North Austin break happened around 9 a.m. and had water rushing down the roadway towards the MoPac frontage road.

AWU spokesman Jason Hill said one lane going westbound on Scofield Ridge Parkways is blocked while crews work on the problem.

Two apartment complexes on Scofield Ridge Parkway are currently without water.

AWU crews were able to fix the problem and restore water to customers by 10 p.m.
