AUSTIN (KXAN) - One of the largest projects to ever hit the Austin area, the Formula 1 track -- later named Circuit of The Americas -- was on-again, off-again for awhile.
But it's not just talk anymore. As of Friday, the F1 drivers took to the new asphalt with their high-powered cars, and it wasn't a dream, unless you want to say it was a dream of a ride.
