Fire crews respond to small electrical blaze

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A small electrical fire on the eighth floor of the University of Texas Tower has been put out.

Fire crews responded to 110 Inner Campus Dr. after the call came in at 9:32 a.m. about the blaze. That's at the intersection of Whitis and University avenues.

Some people evacuated waited outside the tower while crews took care of the situation.

Meanwhile, a couple of crews will stay at the tower.
