Fire sent two people to hospital

Mobile home in southeast Travis County caught fire

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - A man and a woman are recovering at University Medical Center Brackenridge after their home caught on fire in southeast Travis County.

Firefighters were called to the mobile home in the 11000 block of Hialeah Drive around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to investigators, the fire started in a back bedroom of the home.

Everyone inside the home were able to get out, but two adults were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The home did have smoke alarms.

Red Cross is also assisting the family.
