Truck crashes into pole, knocks out power

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A dump truck crashed into a power pole Monday afternoon, forcing a temporary outage in Austin.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. dump truck knocked over power lines.

Authorities closed parts of Cameron Road during lunch hour near the fast-food restaurant where the crash occurred.

Power was later restored, but several cars were damaged.
