AUSTIN (KXAN) - Dr. Ramzi Dakour from the Austin Diagnostic Clinic provides advice on when parents should keep their kids home from school due to illness.
Dr. Dakour recommends parents take their kids to see a pediatrician or family doctor anytime they have any of the following troublesome symptoms:
The best way to keep kids healthy is make sure they are up to date on their immunizations. Also Dakour recommends exercise to boost the immune system. Also keeping kids away from second-hand smoke to avoid respiratory illnesses.
