AUSTIN(KXAN) - A man is being accused of leaving the scene and failing to render aid after causing a crash that ended up with a 3-year-old being ejected from a vehicle.
According to released arrest warrant affidavits 45-year-old Martin Garcia Soto was leaving a parking lot at the intersection of 10500 N. Lamar Blvd when his vehicle struck a Toyota Tercel with a man and his son inside.
The injured child was taken to Dell Children's Hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion.
Witnesses of the crash followed Soto in their own vehicles and were able to block him from leaving any further.
Soto has been charged with failure to stop and render aid and is being held on $10,000 bond.
