Teen exiting CapMetro bus hit by truck

Taken to hospital, but extent of injuries unknown

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A teenager who had just gotten off of a Capital Metro bus Wednesday morning near Woodward Street between Interstate 35 and Ben White Boulevard was hit by a passing truck, police said.

The truck was apparently driving around the bus when the teen was hit just after 9 a.m.     

Paramedics took the teen to University Medical Center Brackenridge, but it was not known how severe the injuries were.

The truck driver did stop.
