SWAT called to Seton in Round Rock

ROUND ROCK. Texas (KXAN) - A SWAT team was sent to the Seton Medical Center in Round Rock on Wednesday after a woman who was taken to the hospital had been held captive by her boyfriend who is wanted in Louisiana in connection with a homicide.

The area was cleared just before 5 p.m., but Round Rock police said they were called to the area around 1:30 p.m. in response to a disturbance.

A hospital security guard told officers about the woman's ordeal, police said. The guard gave no explanation concerning why the woman was taken to the hospital.

Officers checked the woman's home and did not find the boyfriend, identified as Domarlon Dontae Ware, 34. They also checked the hospital grounds at 201 Seton Parkway and vicinity as a precautionary measure, police said.

According to authorities in Louisiana, Ware has a two warrants out of Ouachita Parish for a murder in West Monroe.

Seton officials said operations are back to normal. RRPD has cleared the area as well.
