AUSTIN (KXAN) - A 19-month-old boy was thrown across the room after his stepmother got angry over a potty training accident, according to an arrest warrant.

The arrest affidavit released Tuesday says Angelica Bradley acknowledged to police that she took the action because the child had urinated on the floor despite her recent attempts to potty train him.

After the child was thrown, Bradley shaved a part of the child's head to examine the injury caused by the impact, according to police. After realizing the child was injured, she drove him to Cedar Park Medical Center. He was later taken to Dell Children's Medical Center.

The child suffered a fracture to his skull, and had fluid and blood coming out of his ear, police said.

According to the affidavit, older skull fractures and bruises were noticed by medical personnel.

Bradley was charged with Injury to a child.
