AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin is getting raves from Formula One racing teams who are now in town.
They seem to love everything, including the Southern-style restaurants.
The only family-owned steakhouse in the area, Austin Land and Cattle, has already attracted a few F1 drivers with their Southern reputation.
"They entertain themselves and their people at different places all over the world and now they get to come here and have steak, " said general manager Scottie Mascal.
Max's Wine Dive sits just down the street from the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort, where some of the F1 drivers are staying.
"There is nothing better then Texas hospitality and we're generally excited to have these folks, " said Leslie Higgs of Max's Wine Dive.
The popular Eddie V's on Fifth and San Jacinto streets has already laid down the Texas charm on a few F1 teams.
The restaurant offers a variety of dishes including rib-eyes, Porter house and tomahawk steaks, the very definition of a Texas dinner.
"Their looking for cowboys and steaks and we can give them that, " said executive chef Chris Bauer of Eddie V's.
"We can also give them beautiful museums and parks and bars and restaurants and great food and of course our southern hospitality," Bauer said.
