AUSTIN (KXAN) - The area around Shoal Creek is about to get some much-needed work, but first engineers are presenting their plans to the public.
The city will host an open house on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at One Texas Center to let people learn more about the Shoal Creek Restoration Project.
The project will relocate wastewater lines and improve the creeks in the area in and around Pease Park.
Throughout the years, erosion has threatened trees and trails in the park -- leading to the planned project.
