AUSTIN (KXAN) - Have you ever wonder what happens behind the closed doors of an operating room?

Seton Family of Hospital is getting ready to host its 21th Annual Mock Surgery & More event to give the community an opportunity to learn what happens during surgical procedures and about many health care professional and organizations that support surgical care.

Elois Currivan, an OR Educator at University Medical Center Brackenridge came by the KXAN studios this Sunday to talk about the 21st Annual Mock Surgery & More.

The 21th Annual Mock Surgery & More will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, from 9am-2pm at the Clinical Education Center at Brackenridge- located next to University Medical Center Brackenridge.

The event is free and open to the public.
