AUSTIN (KXAN) - You can help give a good home to a dog.
KXAN News first told you about 19 dogs taken from a home south of San Antonio due to unsafe living conditions in early November.
A judge in Atascosa County turned the 19 dogs over to the Austin Humane Society after rescuers found the dogs in filth and not receiving proper care.
All the dogs have received veterinary care from the Humane Society and are making a full recovery.
The Austin Humane Society says that 12 of the 19 dogs have been adopted. The other seven are still at the facility awaiting adoption.
