AUSTIN (KXAN) - If you're an entrepreneur and live in Austin, then March is your month. South By Southwest Interactive kicks off this week, but that's just the beginning..

At the end of the month, a week long conference of the best and brightest begins.

It's called RISE -- short for Relationship and Information Series for Entrepreneurs.

There are 250 sessions across Austin -- free and open to anyone who signs up.

Hugely successful entrepreneurs from around the world fly in to donate their time leading panels and session, all in an effort to help others get started.

"Many entrepreneurs start with just the money they have in their pockets and just a business idea, and they are passionate about what they are doing," said Claire England, executive director of RISE. "They have great ideas but they need the support of the community of other entrepreneurs.

The conference starts Monday, March 26.
