AUSTIN (KXAN) - The auto insurance company, Progressive, announced Thursday that it plans to hire 185 people in Austin to fill positions in sales, service and claims.
The company is offering performance bonuses; a casual dress code; on-site medical facilities for employees and their families and access to company fitness centers.
"We're constantly looking for ways to make it even easier for employees to grow and succeed," said Katie Koch, recruiting director at Progressive.
Phone representatives will sell policies, answer customer questions or help customers file accident claims. Progressive seeks candidates with customer service experience.
All positions offer paid training. In addition, employees receive medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
